"Bolgherina" una storia d'amore senza fine.

"La mia Bolgherina del cuore" da bambino sentivo spesso mio Nonno Nello chiamare così la mia Nonna Marina. Spinto dalla curiosità una volta chiesi a mio Nonno di raccontarmi la storia di questo soprannome così tenero e particolare... "Bolgherina... La chiamo così perchè ci siamo innamorati mentre passeggiavamo in una bellissima giornata di primavera del 1937 sul Viale dei Cipressi a Bolgheri. Fu una giornata così meravigliosa che tornato in bottega volevo disegnare tutti gli arredi della nostra casa dei sogni tra cui una cucina speciale, unica nel suo genere, tutta in legno dove poter cucinare tutti i giorni insieme a Nonna. Volevo una cucina che durasse per sempre come il nostro amore, ecco perché usai le migliori tecniche nautiche per costruirla. Una cucina è come una barca, deve resistere a tutto come il vero amore e deve essere bellissima e unica come la tua Nonna, la mia Bolgherina del cuore".

Bolgherina is conceived and designed by Mario Managò Pini, Master of Design 2024 and President of the historic PINI 1920 Design Studio, founded over a hundred years ago by legendary cabinetmaker Pilade Pini. The Pini studio's success has since grown to the point where it exports its work worldwide, from Europe to Australia and the United States, thanks to the vision of Comm. Nello Pini , Pilade's son. All our furniture is crafted in Tuscany by the finest master carpenters. We are so proud of our work that we invite you to visit and experience your dream in the making. All our creations are rigorously inspected at every stage to ensure the highest quality and satisfaction.

  • The Works of the Historical Archive

    Over the course of more than a hundred years , Studio Pini 1920 has designed numerous works, including the historic interiors of the Naval Academy in Livorno, the Teatro La Gran Guardia, the famous Granai Staircase at Villa Mimbelli, the Crystal Palace, the "Oscar Armachair," the "Moon 1969" armchair officially catalogued by Christie's London, the "Poltronetta" armchair, and many other works now preserved in the large Pini 1920 Historical Archive. Bolgherina is built exclusively in Tuscany by the finest master craftsmen. All our customers are invited to visit our furniture factory to see and experience their furniture being made.
